Battery Safety Guidelines: Instructions for the Safe Use of Lithium Batteries

Lithium batteries are high-performance energy storage products designed for use, installation, and replacement by professional technical personnel. To ensure safe operation and long-term reliability, users must carefully read the Product Specification Book or User Manual provided with the product before use and strictly follow all safety instructions.

General Safety Instructions

During storage, installation, and operation of lithium batteries, the following rules must be strictly observed:

  • Do not remove the battery from its original packaging before it is ready for installation or use. Proper packaging helps prevent accidental damage and short circuits.

  • Do not place batteries loosely together, as contact between terminals may cause accidental short circuits.

  • Do not expose the battery to high temperatures. Heating the battery above 100°C, placing it near fire sources, or incinerating it is strictly prohibited.

  • Do not solder directly onto the battery surface. Always use batteries that are pre-equipped with pins, tabs, or leads for electrical connections.

  • Do not mix batteries of different ages, capacities, models, or manufacturers, and do not mix new batteries with used ones.

  • Do not disassemble, puncture, or modify the battery under any circumstances.

  • Do not short-circuit the battery terminals. Direct connection between the positive (+) and negative (–) terminals is strictly prohibited.

  • Do not reverse the polarity. Incorrect connection of positive and negative terminals may lead to serious safety hazards.

Important Safety Reminder

Before using any lithium battery, users must fully evaluate the application environment and operating conditions, and strictly comply with the instructions stated in the Product Specification Book or User Manual. Improper handling, installation, or usage may cause the battery to overheat, catch fire, or even explode, potentially resulting in personal injury or property damage.

The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any accidents, losses, or damages caused by failure to follow the specified operating procedures or safety guidelines.
